📋 Job Description
Our principal in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to support the accounting and finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and administrative accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain and update accounting databases and filing systems.
• Verify financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements as required.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department.
✅ Requirements
• Bachelor's in Finance, BCom, MCom, ACCA, CA
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
